A broken cabinet pane or picture frame does not need a whole new unit. We cut glass to your size at our Cleburne store on West Henderson Street, so you can replace just the piece that broke.
Bring the old glass if you still have it, even in pieces. Matching an existing piece is the surest way to get a cut that fits the first time. If the glass is gone, measure the opening carefully and bring those numbers with you.
What People Bring Us
Custom cut glass solves a long list of small household problems that would otherwise mean replacing something whole.
- Cabinet Doors
A cracked pane in a china cabinet or a kitchen cabinet door, where the door itself is fine. - Picture Frames
Odd sized frames and older frames that no standard store bought glass will fit. - Shelving
Replacement shelves for display cases, curio cabinets, and bathroom fixtures. - Table and Counter Tops
Protective glass cut to sit over a wood surface, or a replacement for a piece that chipped. - Storm Windows and Outbuildings
Panes for storm windows, shop doors, and barn or shed windows around Johnson County properties.
Measuring Before You Come In
A few minutes of careful measuring saves a return trip. Take these numbers before you leave home.
- Measure the Opening
Record the height and width of the space the glass sits in, not the outside of the frame. - Check Both Directions
Measure at the top and bottom, then at both sides. Older frames are rarely perfectly square, so use the smaller number. - Note the Thickness
If you have a piece of the old glass, bring it. Thickness matters as much as height and width. - Bring the Frame
When the frame comes out easily, bring the whole thing. We can fit the glass to it directly.
Glass cutting is available at our Cleburne store. Our Grandview, Rio Vista, and Godley stores do not cut glass, so plan your trip accordingly.
